Spring Green Day Sees More Than 6 Tons Recycled

On Saturday, May 11, 2024, The Borough of Rumson Department of Public Works held its Spring installment of its Green Day Event, a semi-annual event created to provide members of the two-river community with a secure way to shred personal and confidential documents, and safely recycle electronic equipment that is no longer working.


The totals for the Spring 2024 Green Day Event have come in at:

5,640 Lbs

6,720 Lbs


2.82 Tons

3.36 Tons

Totaling, 12,360 lbs., or 6.18 tons.
